Welcome to Yellow Room & Blue Room- Our 4's-5's Program !
Our 4's-5's program is a preschool intro for children who will be transitioning to Kindergarten. We provide them with an adequate amount of activities such as math, art, music and science. We are promoting the school like setting preparing them for their next big step. We practice using school materials; pencils, crayons, scissors, glue etc. Children begin name recognition/writing with a variety of manipulatives.
Objectives-
Our objectives are for each child to learn in accordance with his/her needs and interests. To be responsible and independent; develop and strengthen social skills; work independently and in groups; have good work, health, and safety habits; listen and follow directions; expand vocabulary and language ability; to encourage creativity and imagination; strengthen fine and gross motor skills; function well in a classroom setting; be confident and happy about learning.

Winter time is here! We created "snow" for children to explore the texture and cold feeling of snow. We used winter cookie cutters such as reindeer, snowmen and gingerbread to explore the snow!
Our 4's and 5's class work with children to recognize numbers in table activities, songs and circle time! After introduction they get the opportunity to write them out! Here a child is using a chalkboard and chalk to practice writing numbers 1, 2 and 3 from left to right.
